The sites are large, pet friendly, and set up with a picnic table and fire ring at each one. You’ve also got 20/30/50 amp service, water, septic, and WiFi, and your boat ramp and covered slip are included in your stay.

Part of what makes Black Creek Lodge different is our direct water access. Black Creek is a brackish waterway that connects to the Choctawhatchee River, which opens into the bay, and from there it’s about a 45-minute boat ride out to the Gulf of Mexico. That’s four distinct bodies of water from one boat ramp, each with its own fishing. You’ll find bream, catfish, and bass in the creek, redfish and speckled trout as you work toward the bay, and open Gulf fishing once you clear the Destin pass. Even if fishing isn’t really your thing, there’s something about having moving water right outside your site that makes a stay here feel a little extra special.
When you’re ready to get out and explore, you’re in a good spot for it. Destin, Rosemary Beach, and the rest of the 30-A corridor are all within 45 minutes, and Grayton Beach is just 13 miles down the road if you want a quieter beach day.
